This website is not yet fully accessible.
The requirements of BITV 2.0 are currently being implemented step by step.

The following areas are currently not accessible or only partially accessible:

  • Images and graphics do not yet have appropriate alternative text.
  • PDF documents are not accessible.
  • The structure of the content (e.g. headings, hierarchies, and tables) is still being revised.
  • The accessibility of forms is still being reviewed and adjusted.
  • Descriptions of content/functions in easy-to-read language will be adapted in the medium term.
  • Descriptions of content/functions by means of a sign language video will be created in the medium term.

Status of compliance with the requirements

Couven Museum is working to identify and remove barriers.
The following measures are currently in progress:

  • Adding alternative text for images retrospectively.
  • Revising the text structure for better readability.
  • Creating accessible PDFs or HTML alternatives.
  • Technical adjustments to forms and navigation.

The goal is to make the website as accessible as possible in the medium term.
