En 1783, Andreas Monheim acquit la maison. Trois ans plus tard, il la fit r\u00e9am\u00e9nager par l\u2019architecte Jakob Couven.\u00a0Aux lendemains de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, en 1951, la ville d\u2019Aix-la-Chapelle acheta la maison \u00e0 la famille Quadflieg.
