DESCRIPTION:Les salons de Noël richement décorés ont également su fasciner à l’époque historique. Les arbres et murs étaient ornés de Saint-Nicolas\, d’anges et de lamelles. Les traîneaux et casses-noix de Noël faisaient battre plus fort le coeur des enfants. \nLes décorations historiques de Noël sont depuis longtemps appréciées des collectionneurs. De nombreuses collections privées se consacrent à ce domaine auquel est attribué une importance significative en tant que miroir de la société bourgeoise des époques passées. La collection d’ustensiles et décorations historiques de Noël exposée au musée Couven appartient à Heinz Lanzen\, collectionneur originaire d’Eschweiler. Il s’agit d’une collection comptant près de 800 pièces parmi lesquelles on compte des objets datant de la période Biedermeier\, tout comme de curieuses « boules du diable » des années 1920 à 1945. \n \n01.12.2007 – 03.02.2008 ?Inauguration le 30.11.2007 à 19 heures \nBrochure Noël chez grand-mère
